Harmony is a museum exhibit centered around connecting with other cultures through music. With the rize of technology in the recent age music from many different cultures and countries has become accessible for everyone, no matter where in the world they are. We new artist like Bad Bunny and Kali Uchis bringing Latin pop to the public attention. BTS and Blackpink leading k-pop industry to new international heights. Even Russian alternative music is making its way to pop culture with groups like Molchat Doma and IC3PEAK.
To highlight this unique relationship between self expression and sharing culture through music, Harmony uses complementary colors and language to primarily highlight this difference. Each quote in the book emphasizes how music can empower an individual. These quotes may be in different languages but the message is clear and can be shared across cultures.
